Meridian Ops Terms of Service
Effective date: September 9, 2026 · Last updated: September 9, 2026
These terms are the deal between you and Spiced Martini LLC (“we”, “us”) when you use the Meridian Ops app or meridianairops.com (“the service”). Plain English, same as the app.
1. What the service is
Meridian Ops is a toolkit for FAA Part 107 drone pilots: checklists and SOPs, airspace and weather reference, a flight logbook, documents (waivers, incident reports, quotes), and a client-finding tool. With an account, your data syncs across your devices.
2. The big one: flying is your responsibility
The airspace, weather, daylight, and regulation information in the app is reference material, drawn from public FAA and National Weather Service sources. It can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. It is not legal advice, not a flight authorization, and not a substitute for your own preflight duties.
- You are the pilot in command. Every decision to fly, and every flight, is yours.
- Always verify airspace and weather against official sources before flying, and use an FAA-approved LAANC provider for airspace authorization. The app links out to those providers; it does not request authorizations for you.
- FAA rules change. When the app and the current FAR/AIM disagree, the FAR/AIM wins.
We are not liable for violations, fines, accidents, or losses that result from relying on the app instead of your own verification.
3. Accounts
You sign in with an email link. Keep your email account secure – anyone with access to your inbox can sign in as you. One account per person. You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
4. Your data is yours
You keep all rights to everything you create in the app – checklists, logs, documents, notes, prospect lists. We claim no ownership. You give us only the technical permission to store and transmit it so the service works (syncing to your devices, showing it back to you). We do not use your data to train AI models, advertise, or sell anything. The Privacy Policy covers the details.
You can export or delete your data at any time from the Account tab. Deleting your account deletes your data from our servers immediately and permanently.
5. Paid plans
The Free plan is free forever. The Pro plan is $15 per month. Paid plans are not switched on yet; when they launch, these terms apply:
- Payments will be processed by Stripe. By subscribing you agree to Stripe’s terms as well.
- Subscriptions renew monthly until you cancel. Cancel any time from the Account tab or by emailing contact@meridianairops.com; cancellation stops the next charge, and you keep Pro until the end of the paid month.
- If a charge fails, Pro features pause until it is sorted. We do not play gotchas with surprise fees: the price on the Plans page is the price.
- If we ever raise the price, existing subscribers keep their price for at least 12 months and get 30 days’ notice before any change.
- Refunds: if the service breaks and we cannot fix it, email us and we will make it right, including a refund of the current month where that is fair. Cancel-and-stop-renewal is always available without needing a refund.
- Course students: the Plans page describes a student free period. It starts when the course provider confirms enrollment and does not convert to a paid subscription without you choosing to pay.
We may change plan features, but we will not remove a feature a paid subscriber is actively relying on without notice and a chance to export their data.
6. Acceptable use
Do not: break the law with the service; probe, attack, or overload it; scrape it in bulk; resell access to your account; or use Find Clients data to spam businesses (no bulk unsolicited email – use it to start real conversations, which is the point).
OpenStreetMap business data is (c) OpenStreetMap contributors, used under the Open Database License. If you build a public database from it, ODbL share-alike terms apply to that database.
7. What we can do
We can suspend or delete accounts that break these terms, abuse the service, or break the law. If we do, we email you and, where lawful and reasonable, give you the chance to export your data first.
We can change or discontinue features with notice in the app. If we ever shut the service down entirely, we will give at least 60 days’ notice and a way to export everything.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is”. We do not promise it is always available, error-free, or that every FAA dataset refreshes on a schedule you can rely on. Beyond what the law does not let us disclaim:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost income, lost clients, lost flights).
- Our total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.
9. Disputes
These terms are governed by California law. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in California. Before filing anything, email us – most problems fix faster that way.
10. Changes and contact
If these terms change, the date at the top changes and material changes get a notice in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms. The current version is always at meridianairops.com/ops-terms.
